The forecast for Rielly's 21st birthday session was not favorable. All signs pointed towards having water dumped on us, but we decided to roll with whatever Mother Nature threw our way and ended up having an amazing evening at the lake.
Rielly invited her BFF, Kelli, and sweet boyfriend, Matt, to join in on the fun. Kelli had just turned 21 as well, so there was double reason to celebrate!
I think we all laughed through a majority of this session as poses were struck and bottles were opened.
I loved seeing the connection between Rielly and Kelli, who have walked through school and experiences together. While not at the same university, they are both pursuing similar degrees and supporting each other all the way. Matt and Rielly are darling to watch. I thought it was cute that he gave her a piggy back ride when they encountered a rocky section they needed to walk through.
Rielly is gorgeous inside and out and I think she may have one of the best smiles ever. She beams with her whole self and it is easy to see why she is so adored. As we finished up some final shots with the last drops of sunset, we turned and saw a giant rainbow in the sky. I got all the goose bumps and am convinced that this particular one was set in the sky just for her.
