A few months ago, I had the immense pleasure of documenting the company picnic for Alan Plummer Associates, Inc. This amazing day was held at the John Bunker Sands Wetland Center. APAI has had a significant role in the vision and development of this beautiful wetland center and it was so neat to see everyone enjoying the space.
Between the petting zoo, bounce houses, pony rides, board games, live music, wetland tours, face painting, character artist, and demonstrations, there was a sea of smiles. APAI has done an incredible job of cultivating a wonderful company culture and I loved getting to know so many of the families.
My favorite part was accompanying a group on a tour of the wetlands on the site. Children turned into explorers and I think we were all captivated by the beauty of it all. A pair of eagles had just returned to a nesting spot a few days before and we were able to see the nest in the distance (live cam HERE)!
