Thank you for applying to be an ambassador for Mandy Beth Photography - I'm so excited to build relationships with participating dancers (while creating fantastic images)! Please read all of the following carefully before applying to ensure that this program is a good fit for you and your goals.
2025 Fall/Winter Mandy Beth Photography Dance Ambassador Program
Mandy Beth Photography is seeking passionate dancers who are eager to represent the MBP brand and share their experiences and enthusiasm. While photoshoots are a fun an integral part of the program, the heart of the ambassador role lies in active engagement. Ambassadors are partners in creativity and are eager to connect with others to grow a positive dance community.
- Encouraging friendships - this will be a small group ideally comprised of a variety of studios so that dancers can meet in a fun environment and build relationships.
- Mutual promotion between dancers and Mandy Beth Photography - all team members will be active on social media and cheering each other along throughout the season!
- Creative expression through photography concepts.
- Increased confidence - MBP wants every dancer to feel strong and beautiful in their photos.
- Three dance photo sessions in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex area - ambassador sessions are likely to be at a new location, have a specific vision/color palette, and/or use a technique that MBP wants to try out/improve in. Sessions will be scheduled on a single date for the group but each dancer will have their own time slot for individual posing (similar to mini session format) to aid in time management and help with planning. Sometimes extra time will be scheduled for group photos. The amount of time scheduled may vary from session to session based on a variety of factors. Session dates will be selected based on application responses for availability. Additional session opportunities or model calls may be extended to the team throughout the season.
- Gallery of web-sized images to share from each session during the term - each ambassador's full resolution files will be released for download once the contract term is complete and sharing requirement is met.
- Promotion on @mandybethphoto.dance Instagram account and potential submissions for publishing.
- Discount code - each ambassador will have a discount code to share and can earn credit towards future sessions.
- fill out application form (link below) by the end of Sunday, September 7th (ambassadors will be selected by September 14th)
- dancer specific public Instagram account (can be parent-ran but not be parent's personal account) that follows Mandy Beth Photography/ambassador team, and denotes being a "@mandybethphoto.dance ambassador" in the profile bio line
- September 2025-February 2026 commitment - dancers are welcome to work with and post pictures from other photographers but cannot be an ambassador for another photographer during the program term
- ambassadors must be at least 12 years old and actively training at a home studio (or teaching and/or performing with an organization if over 18) ... the mini ambassador program for younger dancers will open applications later on in the season
- an eagerness to collaborate, try out new things, and incorporate styling/wardrobe suggestions for specific visions (while having patience for your photographer who will be experimenting/trying new things through this process, too!)
- an understanding that some creative sessions get us all "out of the box" a bit and the more participants commit to the theme, the better it turns out (see examples of past dance work HERE)
- excitement about sharing the resulting photos online - ambassadors are expected to be active on social media and post Mandy Beth Photography photos at least three times a month within their profile grid (sharing your excitement about upcoming shoots, behind the scenes content, IG stories, reposting friends, commenting on team photos, etc. is also highly encouraged!)
- fee of $370 due at beginning of ambassador term for three ambassador sessions and gallery of images (over $675 value) - if selected, please reach out if you prefer a payment plan
