Ambassador Program Registration...

To finalize your acceptance into the Mandy Beth Photography Ambassador Program, please complete the following steps by the end of Sunday, January 19th. The team will be announced on social media on or before January 25th. Even though we are all super excited, please do not share that you are on the team until everyone's registration is complete and MBP has posted the announcement.

1. Register for the ambassador program HERE. This link will take you through an ambassador program contract (it will have a "session date" for the start of the term - this date is not a photo session) as well as some questions. You will pay for the program during this step as well - the fee will cover three ambassador sessions. An minimum payment of $150 is due at the time of signing up and payments can be made on the balance through March 7th. Please read through everything carefully! At the time of registration, you will also select your session dates and fill out a questionnaire for your dancer - answers may be used for future ambassador spotlight posts. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to reach out.
2. Text your favorite MBP vertical dance photo of your dancer to 817-896-6784. This image will be used to create a graphic for IG stories announcing the team on or before January 25th (your dancer's account will be tagged so you can repost as well), so please avoid images that are pulled way back.
3. Sign up for the GroupMe chat by clicking HERE so that you can be kept in the loop for information. A parent/guardian for each ambassador is needed on the chat so that session details and scheduling can be confirmed. Please only send messages that apply to the full group through the GroupMe chat. (I'll wait for the whole team to be on there before sending info through GroupMe so that nobody misses any info.) 4. Scroll down to review information on upcoming sessions, social media safety, content tips, etc.
5. After the team is announced on social media, add "@mandybethphoto.dance ambassador" to your Instagram bio line and follow all of the other ambassador accounts (listed below).

Upcoming Ambassador Sessions...

Ambassador sessions will take place on: 02/15, 03/18, 03/22, and 04/26. Each ambassador will choose three dates to participate in. From the interest surveys, it looks like everyone can make April 26th, and I would love to take some full group photos if so. Parents can select their three session dates while registering.

Team List and Coupon Codes

Below is a list of the Spring 2025 Ambassador Team, Instagram profile names, and coupon codes. As ambassadors, it is always appreciated when you help to promote MBP sessions. There will be multiple sessions with flyers to promote throughout the term - add in your coupon code so your followers can save 10% off. As they do, you will earn $25 credit towards any future MBP session. Everyone's totals will be communicated to them at the end of the term.

Note: Coupon codes can be used on Mandy Beth Photography full sessions or standard portrait/dance mini sessions. Coupon codes cannot be used or credits given for "volume" jobs for a hosting organization such as studio/team/company shoots, recital sessions, brand model calls, etc.

Social Media Safety

While having an active social media account is part of being an ambassador, please know that MBP wants to prioritize safety. Accounts can be public or private. If your dancer's account is private, please always post your MBP image posts to stories in addition to your grid and tag "mandybethphoto.dance" so that MBP can share, as cross promotion is a goal of the program.

MBP routinely screens followers and story viewers - I am liberal with the block button if I even get a whiff of inappropriateness. If there is ever an account that I need to be aware of, please let me know.

Review the following tips to help safeguard your dancer's account:

• regularly review followers and story viewers - accounts that don't have mutual ties to the local dance community need extra scrutiny
• examine the each follower’s profile carefully - be cautious of accounts with generic usernames, no posts, or limited information (also view the type of accounts they follow)
• inappropriate profiles should be blocked and reported to Instagram
• disable direct messages from people who aren’t following the account to reduce unwanted contact
• set up Instagram’s comment moderation feature, which filters out inappropriate words and phrases
• review comments on posts regularly, especially on high-engagement posts
• bots often have blank profiles, random strings of numbers or letters as usernames, or posts that are unrelated to dance
• you can disable the option to allow others to tag your child, preventing unapproved tags
• turn on two-factor authentication to ensure that only authorized users can access the account. This adds an extra layer of security by requiring a second verification step, such as a code sent to your phone

Content Tips

• while at MBP sessions, take BTS photos and videos - find a new pal and snap a selfie, post excitement about getting ready, take a video of a pal rocking it in front of the camera, etc.
• download your images from your gallery (you can do individuals easily from your phone) - screen shots are usually a low resolution and will look fuzzy
• while you may be excited to post all your photos at once after a shoot, spread out your images over time
• post MBP images at least three times a month on your profile grid during the ambassador term - please tag @mandybethphoto.dance when you do (you can extend your reach by also tagging your dancewear brand, dance studio, etc.)
• use the "draft" feature to load your images at one time so they are handy to access when you want to post quickly
• group horizontal and vertical photos together for posts - Instagram does not play well when you try to post landscape and portrait orientation images together and will make some weird crops
• comment and engage on fellow ambassador posts - promoting and hyping one another up is where it's at <3
